Parish Groups

Like all parishes, St. Luke's relies on various specialised groups to help us fulfil our mission.  The main groups administered by St. Luke's PCC include:

  • GENESIS -  for children from ages 2 - 11,  helping explore faith through craft, music, drama and friendship with a Bible basis

  • FAITH GROUP -  for young people from age 12 upwards meeting on Sunday evenings

  • MIDWEEK STUDY GROUP - an informal Bible study group which meets twice a month on Wednesday evenings in the Church Hall

  • PRAYER NETWORK - embracing all Church members

  • MOTHERS' UNION - St. Luke's Branch meets in two groups on Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday evening
  •
  • ST. LUKE'S SOCIAL COMMITTEE

Various members of St. Luke's Church also provide their time and talents to support ecumenical groups involving Christians from the other local churches.  These groups are independent of, and not administered by, St. Luke's PCC.  They include:

  • CHRISTIAN COMMUNICARE - service group shared with Christians from other Churches in Holmes Chapel

  • CHRISTIAN AID - the  local committee working to support Christian Aid in the Holmes Chapel area
